Today i experienced the most expensive cab ride i ever took in my life. Not even cabbing back home from town during midnight beats this.
Failing a module = $3.9k
Rushing to submit a coursework = $27.25
Seeing the cab companies on their knees to beg us to take cabs in near future = Priceless
Hmm. From sembawang to tiong bahru nia leh. The peak hour 35 percent surcharge is seriously a blood sucker/wallet emptier/day killer.
Remind me never to take a cab during peak hours anymore. Is gan bo hua. It's not even midnight and i'm paying 27.25 for a cab ride. Bullshit.
I left camp with 30 dollars and stripped down after the ride with barely enough to pay my friend for the dinner.
Speaking of which I skipped last nights dinner, today breakfasts and lunch. I looked at my exams grades and coursework I feel full liao.
With this kinda grades I better get used to the feeling soon, maybe next time only 1 meal a day.
Haven't been sleeping well for the past few days. Slept 5am this morning too.
The adrenaline of last minute work certainly pushed me to do work but it's not very healthy. Had 2 packets of kopi-c from the kopitiam downstairs to keep my mind from steering the wrong direction into lala land.
Oh well, submitted the coursework. but i don't think anything good will come out from it. sigh.
