im very pissed. its about money.
im pissed that i don't have all the money in the world. okay this sounds materialistic.
they say money cannot solve everything. i agree.
it sure can solve most of it though.
predestined? i guess so.
on another note, to those who are very well off and refuse to receive anymore money from family because "i want to be independent". claps claps. i admire your'all independentness and thinking.
i just wanna say there are many people working their ass off not because they wanna be independent, but their lives depend on it. if given a choice, who dun wanna enjoy life?
okay okay. i am not encouraging laziness and over dependent on parents. im just saying to them "Please be content with what you have because you have a safety net while those struggling to make ends meet doesnt".
im not saying im poor. im happy. my parents worked very hard. we're making ends meet. but we're not well off. i work whenever i can to keep up with my materialistic needs (who doesnt? oh the rich ones).
the rich gets richer, the middle gets poorer and the poor gets worst in singapore. true?
i remember my second bro said to me. "our parents aint got nothing left for you. no factory no family business no legacy. only a economical rice stall. you are on your own." how true. i am beginning to feel the cruel reality of society then. safety net i have not.
to those who does have a factory a family business and a legacy. if you are not content with wat you have and will have, i will personally smack you black and blue and say "fuck you go and die and reborn a pauper to see how it feels" in your face.
i wanna stress that im not poor. but im not well off either. and that i am quite happy. quite.
all these so far sounded emotional aint it. if you think hard enough you will understand where am i coming from. what i said is true or not.
who said everyone is equal when born into this world? i wanna smack those "idealistic" philosophers straight to hell (or they are there already?).
to me, i think, people are not born equal.
- some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth (not literally)
- some are born with nothing in their mouth (middle class)
- some are born with grass in their mouth (the rest)
- some are born a "white horse" (not literally, it means of "royalty")
- some are born donkeys (well, you get what i mean)
i apologise for the crude description.
well, see the picture? sure sure, people may say we are born flesh and blood all the same 2 eyes 2 ears 1 nose 1 mouth.
fei4 hua4 i also know and know how to say.
the moral of this post is, be content with what you have and try not to be envy of others for what you don't. (im content but im working on the envy part).
JD is content with the current life his parents worked hard to provide. if it can get better he is lucky. if it doesnt it is still good. remember to be a good child and finish up your vegetables okay?
