Esspeerian

Experienced all the driving conditions in 24 hours:

Night driving
Day driving
Peak hour driving
Rainy day driving
Rainy day peak hour driving

oh no, left rainy night driving.

anyway, the best stretch of road to speed has got to be KJE during night time.

the worst peak hour driving have to be PIE starting from teckwhye-bukit timah-pie. but i got to say, it's very exciting to experience near misses.

im so drained after around 400km of driving.

found 2 lobangs to go to courtesy of bert:

Golden Hung Ho at toh guan for wine and spirits and beer deals. tasted easier to drink generic cabernet sauvignon, merlot and shiraz over there. excellent service and knowledgeable staff as well. i bought a bottle of Don David's Torrentes and 2 bottles of Yoghurt liquor. Torrentes for sunday meals with family, then the yoghurt liquor... who wanna share with me?

Woodland terrace where all the wholesalers of chilled and frozen foodstuff are found. went in Fassler and i was dumbfounded. remember nihon mura salmon sashimi 6 slices for 6-8 dollars? the tray of salmon there i think almost 40 pieces. at less thn 20 dollars. PEOPLE! I BESIEGE YOU TO COME WITH ME IN THE QUEST OF FRESH SALMON. ARM YOURSELF WITH SHOYU AND WASABI AND JOIN MY ENTOURAGE!

I remembered MA telling me about the Provence bakery at holland V and i went there today. cool place, jap styled french confections. saw mark lee and his wife. anyway i tried:

the Milk-Pan (Milk Anpan). darn nice la, to those lactose intolerant people: you don't know what you are missing. the milk custard is not yellow mind you.

coffee-choco cakelike bread or sth. cant remember the name. but it was decently choco-ed and coffee-ed. abit messy to eat though.

blueberry cheese bread. this is omfg dropped from heaven.

oatmeal cookie. same as above.

pricier than breadtalk i agree but definitely more wholesome. at least you are not eating more air than bread with every bite into something that looks like a big piece of bread.

newton for dinner yesterday and saw the cordoned area in search for the fugitive. thought it was an exercise of some sort but in the end.... ....heads gonna roll and crab gonna be cooked in our civil service and security ranks.

drove to many places but was cut short because of that mofo extremist. iz was recalled along with many other servicemen. i wonder if cockroach poison works on the extremists, as in the case of cockroaches they bring back the poison to their nest, share the poison, and spread it across their population.

i've got finance paper tomorrow. this time really can die liao. and no i don't wanna try the cockroach poison.
